The Jefferson County Historic Landmarks CommissionThe Jefferson County Historic Landmarks Commission, the primary sponsor for the Barn Tour, is a branch of Jefferson County government charged with helping residents preserve historic properties. As part of this responsibility, the Commission assists residents in documenting structures that may be of historic interest and provides information about restoration options and techniques. The current Barn Tour is an effort to document the historic fabric of Jefferson County agriculture and to give property owners access to information about restoration techniques, tax credits, and funding sources for stabilization, maintenance, and restoration of historic structures.
Potomac Headwaters Resource, Conservation, and Development Council, Inc.The Martinsburg branch of Potomac Headwaters RC & D provides assistance to groups interested in promoting responsible use of our natural resources.
